Farm Hand / General Farm Worker – Southland

About the Farm
The role is based on a 650-hectare sheep and beef property. The farm runs around 1,500 ewes and 140 cows across flat land, rolling hills, and some steeper country.

Responsibilities
As a farm hand, your tasks will include:
- General farm maintenance and stock work
- Fencing and spraying duties
- Tractor operation
- Other day-to-day farming activities
- Occasional handpiece work (experience is an advantage)
Accommodation is available if needed.
What We’re Looking For
Applicants should have:
- A strong interest in farming and livestock work
- Motivation, reliability, and pride in their work
- A valid driver’s license
- Two well-trained dogs (advantageous but not required)
- The ability to work both independently and within a team
